Tessa LaMagna - Tessa is a graduate of the post-grad program at the University of Rochester. She began her career at GTC in 2003 in the Fit by Five Preschool program. She was also an assistant physical education instructor at both Hillel School and State Road School in Webster. She has coached indoor soccer at the JCC for 8 years and was an assistant coach for the girls varsity soccer and basketball teams at Webster Schroeder High School for two years. |

Debbie Marshall - Owner and coach of "The Flip Factory Gymnastics", located in the Adirondacks, for 10 years. Sold the gym in 2003 and moved to Honeoye Falls to be closer with family. Has 3 children, ages 21,20 and 5. |

Julie Tomas - Julie is a certified nurse. A former Level 10 gymnast Julie competed for the Fairport Varsity Gymnastics teem. Julie has coached gymnastics for over 25 years in 3 States. Her favorite event is bars. |

Cynthia
Jane Popinko - Ballet Instructor Cynthia Jane Popinko, a Washington D.C. native, studied at and danced for The Russell School of Ballet and the Fairfax Ballet Company. While growing up, trained in an extensive classical ballet program emphasizing both Russian and Cecchetti disciplines. Cynthia’s performances include Les Sylphides, The Doll Shop, Emperor’s New Clothes, as well as many original company pieces. Since 2001, Cynthia has been on staff teaching all levels of ballet and classical dance, specializing in technique and pointe. With pilates training and over 10 yeas of choreographing performance, group and solo, Cynthia offers a wealth of experience for students of dance and creative movement of all ages. |

Michelle Madore Andrews - The current World Champion in the Cabaret > Division of Ballroom Dance. She and her husband Taggard have also won 1st > place at many International Competitions such as The Ohio Star Ball > Dancesport Championships, broadcast on PBS each year. She has been studying > dance since she was a child. She danced professionally first with the Mohawk > Valley Performing Arts Company in upstate NY and then at The Hartford Ballet > in Connecticut. Michelle holds an Associates of Arts in Education, a > Bachelor of Science degree in Dance Kinesiology, and a Masters of Fine Arts > degree in Dance Performance and Choreography. She is the 1997 NYDO Best > Chorography Winner and has received grant awards to produce her > choreography. Michelle's dance expertise includes Ballet, Pointe, Modern, > Latin and Standard Partner Dancing, and Cabaret (Partner Dancing with > Lifts). She has also developed a Pilates and Yoga based Stretch and > Strengthen Class designed to help dancers and other athletes achieve peak > performance levels. |

Lisa M. Edborg - Lisa’s classical ballet training began at the age of 7 at the American Academy of Ballet in Buffalo, NY under the direction of Maris Battaglia. While training at the Academy, Lisa regularly attended master classes with Arthur Mitchell, the founder and director of The Dance Theatre of Harlem and former principal dancer of The New York City Ballet and with Karel Shook, formally the co-director of The Dance Theatre of Harlem and renowned teacher, dancer and author. She also attended the summer dance program at Chautauqua Institution. Lisa holds a B.A. from SUNY at Buffalo in Dance. While at school, she was a member of the Zodiaque Dance Company, where she performed and lectured in various area theatres and schools. Lisa performs annually in The Nutcracker with the Rochester City Ballet and in conjunction with Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra. She has taught ballet throughout the Rochester area for over ten years and has had many students accepted to prestigious professional ballet programs. Lisa developed and teaches Prelude to the Arts, an enrichment program designed for preschool children integrating dance and music with arts-related literature, through town recreation departments. She has furthered her own ballet training at the Draper Center for Dance Education and Dancer’s Alley in Rochester. Currently, Lisa is pursuing her MLS as a School Library Media Specialist from SUNY at Buffalo and is also hoping to pursue a second master’s degree in their newly created Education in and through the Arts program.
