Main objective - help children separate and have them socialize with other children the
same age. Class consists of: singing songs and doing a variety of simple and fun
activities geared to their age level while helping them develop beginning listening
skills.
Back
We try to expose children ages 3-4 to physical and academic skills. We work with
numbers, letters, geometric shapes, colors, body parts, and following direction type
activities. Children learn how to wait in line and take turns. They are
exposed to sports, games and beginning gymnastics. Relays and obstacles are also a
big part of our preschool program. Our main focus is to build each child's
self-confidence and develop their attention span while they experience a variety of
activities.
Back
Children must be planning to attend Kindergarten the following year. Besides being
exposed to academic and physical activities at a more advanced level than the preschool
children, the pre-k class is encouraged to be more independent by a greater variety of
activities that are more challenging as well as fun to do.
